POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Pound Ridge resident Aly Dowey, a 2011 Fox Lane graduate, participated in the fall 2013 Bates College Junior Semester Abroad program.
Dowey, who is majoring in chemistry, studied in France through the Center for University Programs Abroad.
About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and Bates offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
Dowey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Dowey.
