Pound Ridge Montessori Teacher Helps Parents Help Children

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Montessori School's program Montessori in the Home will feature Kristen Ancker on Thursday, Nov. 5, in Pound Ridge.

Ancker is a Montessori certified teacher, Positive Discipline parent and teacher educator. She will give parents tools and information on how to develop their children's independence and how to build respectful child-parent relationships.

The talk is free for parents who have children in the Pound Ridge Montessori School. Other parents are welcome to attend for $25, payable at the door.

The talk is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the PRMS. The school will provide appetizers and drinks.
