POUND RIDGE, NY. – The Fox Lane Middle School Association is seeking volunteers for the current school year.

FLMSA lets parents become involved in activities affecting children in Fox Lane Middle School. There are several things parents can volunteer for. Examples include:

Almost Anything Goes: Held in December, it’s a loud evening of fun and games at the high school gym – like an indoor field day – with students and staff competing against each other. Volunteers are needed to donate refreshments and run the concession stand and help manage the students.

Book Fair: Held in November, volunteers help set up and pack up displays, run the sales table, help students find books and keep the displays organized.

Ecobag Fundraiser: Reusable grocery bags are offered for sale throughout the year. The time commitment is flexible.

Enrichment/Field Trip Committee: Volunteers work with teachers and staff to research appropriate in-school and out-of-school field trips and enrichment opportunities for the students and coordinate logistics.

Gift Card Fundraiser: Volunteers are needed in November to help set up information packets for each student, track sales and distribute purchased gift cards. The time commitment is flexible.

There are many other activities and events for which volunteers are needed. Visit www.bcsdny.org/webages/flmsa/voluunteers.cfm for a complete list.
