BEDFORD, N.Y. The Bedford School District is reminding parents that the period for registering children who will be entering kindergarten in September, 2012 is approaching.
Parents may register their children between Feb. 28 and March 30. A child must be five years old by Dec. 1 of their kindergarten school year in order to register.

Note that only children who live in the Bedford Central School District on a full-time basis are permitted to attend its schools.
