Police Help Find Missing Pound Ridge Man

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Pound Ridge police helped find an elderly male resident earlier this week after relatives reported him missing when he didn’t return from a walk.

Officers were called to a home on Old Snake Hill Road at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26, on the missing person report. They were told by the homeowner that the man had gone for a walk, but hadn’t come back and they’d grown concerned.

Pound Ridge police, along with the state police canine division, aviation division, Pound Ridge Fire Department and Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps, conducted a search of the area and eventually located the man, who was unharmed.

The following items were also reported by the Pound Ridge police:

On Thursday, Aug. 22, police were called to Westchester Avenue for a car/bicyclist accident. The cyclist was taken by the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps to the Westchester Medical Center.

Police were called to a Shad Road West residence on Monday on a fraud call. The resident reported the purchase of an unknown item on their credit card. Police are investigating the incident.
