POUND RIDGE, N.Y. - Louise DePetro Mazzanti, a 20-year resident of Pound Ridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 4. She was 91.
Mazzanti was born April 5, 1923, in Scranton, Pa., to Frank and Maria DePetro. She moved to Pound Ridge after her husband died. She was a parishioner of the Pound Ridge Community Church.
Mazzanti is survived by her daughter, Diane Mazzanti (Les Maron); son, Gene (Linda) Mazzanti of Los Angeles; four grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Lewis, of Clarks Summit, Pa. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Angelo Mazzanti.
Private burial services took place at Cresthaven Memorial in Clifton, N.J. A "homecoming" service in Mazzanti's memory will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Pound Ridge Community Church. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mazzanti's memory may be made to the Pound Ridge Community Church, 3 Pound Ridge Road, Pound Ridge, NY 10576, to benefit children's needs and services locally and around the world.
