Pound Ridge Woman Accuses Husband of Sexual Assault

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Police investigated an incident on Friday in which a Pound Ridge woman alleged that her husband sexually assaulted her.

The woman fled her Pound Ridge residence and went to the home of a friend in South Salem where she called the Lewisboro Police Department and reported the incident. 

Officers went to the friend's home on East Ridge Road where they interviewed the woman who alleged that her husband had attempted to rape her in their Pound Ridge home. Lewisboro police notified Pound Ridge police of the incident who, along with state police, went to the Pound Ridge residence to interview the husband. 

Lewisboro police said the man was arrested, but state police and the Westchester County District Attorney’s office would not confirm it at this time. 

The woman was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center with injuries to her shoulder, back and wrist.
