POUND RIDGE When police pulled over a motorist for speeding on Westchester Avenue last week, they discovered the driver did not have a drivers license and impounded his car.
Police would not disclose the name of the driver but said he was issued a two tickets one for traveling 50 mph in a 30 mph zone and the other for being an unlicensed operator.

NOV. 22
A passing motorist on Westchester Avenue reported a small, gray car driving erratically. Police located the vehicle and interviewed the driver and determined there were no problems.
NOV. 23
Police received a call that downed branches were blocking Honey Hollow Road. The branches were removed by the officer and the road was cleared.
Police responded to a two-car accident on Pound Ridge Road. One subject was transported to the hospital and the car was towed.
Police received a call for a one-car accident on Upper Shad Road. The car was towed but there were no injuries.
Police responded to a report of aggravated harassment from a resident on Salem Road. The harassment was by phone. Police mediated the matter and the case was closed.
NOV. 26
Police mediated a dispute between an Apple Tree Lane resident and a contractor.
Police were called to Great Hill Farm Road on the report of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of one of the homes. Officers spoke with the vehicles owner and determined he was working in the area.
An Upper Shad Road resident called police to complain about unwanted calls and texts. Police advised the resident and no further problems were reported.
A resident on Highview Road reported that mail was missing from their mailbox. Police put a report on file.

Police issued traffic summons to two motorists on Westchester Avenue one for going 48 mph in a 30 mph zone and one for going 50 mph in a 30 mph zone.
