Pound Ridge Police Disperse Trespassers

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Police responded, Saturday, June 25, to Old Mill River Road on a trespassing report. Officers found two people on the Aquarion property and identified them. They were advised that they were trespassing and subject to arrest. Both promised they would leave and not enter the property again.

In other police blotter news:

JUNE 22

Police were called to Samuel Dann Way on a report of three suspicious males in the area. The trio were said to be ringing doorbells and running off. Officers patrolled the area but did not find any of the men.

Police responded to Long Ridge Road for the report of a tree in the roadway. The roadway was flared and the tree was removed by the Pound Ridge Fire Department.

JUNE 23

Police were called to Salem Road for a minor flooding condition. Officers provided traffic control while the Pound Ridge Highway Department corrected the condition without incident.

JUNE 24

A resident called police headquarters to report a television set on the side of West Road. Officers responded and checked the area but could not find the set.

Police responded to Pound Ridge Road for a simple assault complaint. The case was deemed a juvenile investigation and the names of the subjects were not released.

JUNE 26

Police were dispatched to Peters Lane on a fire alarm. The Pound Ridge Fire Department was on the location to put out a barbecue/grease fire.
