POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Pound Ridge Planning Board approved three residential site plan and subdivision applications at its November meeting, including the construction of a new swimming pool.

The board reviewed a ratified approval for a residential site plan at 218 Honey Hollow Rd. for the construction of an addition to the existing residence that would exceed the maximum building coverage threshold for an R-3A zoning district. The property has 19.65 acres.

A plan for the Fleisher property at 23 Miller Rd. was approved to construct an in-ground pool that would exceed the maximum lot coverage thresholds for an R-3A zoning district. The property has 3.1 acres.

The board also issued a final subdivision approval for the Kagan property at 39 Old Stone Hill Rd. The 32.9-acre parcel is in an R-3A zoning district. The subdivision will create three lots. Lot 1 will contain the existing dwelling, detached garage, driveway, pool, man-made pond, septic system and well, consisting of 3.5 acres. Lot 2 will consist of 19.7 acres and Lot 3 will consist of 9.7 acres.

The board also received an application for a two-lot subdivision for the London property at 82 Pound Ridge Rd. The property consists of 11.4 acres. The first lot would contain 5 acres and an existing cottage. The second lot would consist of 6.3 acres and contain the existing residence and a cottage. No further development is proposed. The property is in a R-3A zoning district.
