Pound Ridge Library Anniversary Project Continues

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – As part of its 60th anniversary celebration, the Pound Ridge Library’s Community Enhancement Project will present its forth in a series of events on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at the library.

The Community Enhancement Project, known as “Building Together – Growing Together,” focuses on community, civility and compassion, the library said. The fourth event is entitled “Encouraging Compassion: Knowing the Many Faces of Bullying.” It will feature a screening and discussion of the Japanese film, “The Bluebird,” led by Patricia Warble of Student Assistance Services Corp. and the Drug Abuse Prevention Council, the library said. Light refreshments will be served.
