POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Pound Ridge police are investigating a case of identity theft and possible bank fraud.

Police received a call from a Fox Run Road resident on Wednesday, Dec. 21, who told them there had been unauthorized activity on his checking account. The case was referred to the bank’s fraud department and police say the investigation is ongoing.

DEC. 21

Police issued an order of protection at a residence on Doe View Lane.

Police received a report from Trinity Pass Road of two males on private property. The incident is under investigation.

DEC. 22

Police received a report of an injured deer on Horseshoe Hill Road. By the time officers arrived, the deer had run off into the woods.

DEC. 23

Officers were dispatched to Buck Hill Lane on a dog complaint. A resident had reported two loose dogs in the neighborhood. The dogs were located and returned to their owner.

Police found a baby stroller at the Town Park (Double Snap-N-Go by Baby Trend). It is being held at the Pound Ridge police station.

DEC. 25

Police were dispatched to Stone Hill Road for a reported chimney fire. The residence’s occupants had a fire going in the fireplace with the flue shut. The house was ventilated by the Pound Ridge Fire Department.

DEC. 26

Police received a call at 9:30 a.m. about a lost kitten on Cradle Rock East Road. The kitten is black with a white spot on its neck and paws.
