POUND RIDGE, N.Y. A Connecticut man who took a car from his place of work and crashed it was arrested on stolen vehicle charges, Pound Ridge Police said.
Police were called to an accident on Lower Trinity Pass. When they arrived, they found the two subjects sitting on the front steps of a house. The driver told officers the car did not belong to him and he had taken it from his place of employment, police said. He said the employer had no knowledge of him taking the vehicle. Police discovered that the car had been reported stolen.
Steve Lucien, 22, of Stamford, Conn., and Fenold Solius, 21, also of Stamford were arrested. They were transported to Northern Westchester Community Hospital by the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps and scheduled to appear in Pound Ridge Town Court at a later date.

A Doeview Lane resident told officers Tuesday that hed received a suspicious call from someone trying to obtain personal information in reference to credit cards. Officers called the number back and discovered it was a marketing firm. They advised the resident to place the phone number on the No Call List.
Police were called to Stone Hill Road for a car/dog accident Tuesday. They discovered the dog dead on arrival. There were no injuries and no tow was needed.
Police received two separate reports Monday of mailbox vandalism one on Westchester Avenue and one on Cross River Road.
A resident on Upper Shad Road reported that he saw three teenagers remove traffic cones from the roadway Monday. Police search the area but found nothing.
