Teresa Constantino, 76, Formerly of Pound Ridge

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Teresa R. Constantino, a former 30-year resident of Pound Ridge, died May 14 at her daughter's home. She was 76.

Constantino was born July 3, 1935, in Bronx, N.Y., to Salvatore and Rosa Sberna Puglia.  She graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx in 1953 and Hunter College in 1957 with a bachelor's degree in education.

She worked as a teacher in the Port Chester School District. She lived most recently in Somers. Constantino enjoyed needlework, crafts and antiques.

She is survived by her twin sister, Agata McCusker, of Clinton, N.Y.; two daughters, Andrea (Joseph) Neri, of Patterson, N.Y., and Stephanie Chisolm, of Maryland; a son, Joseph (Virginia) Constantino Jr., of Carmel, N.Y.; two sisters-in-law; six grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Joseph Constantino, on April 3, 2000.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Bedford. Burial will follow at Pound Ridge Cemetery.
