Pound Ridge Needs Neighborly Volunteers

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Pound Ridge Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) needs volunteers to drive senior citizens to doctors’ appointments.

As the summer months approach, the number of volunteers diminishes because of vacation schedules. The number of needy seniors does not. In fact, Pound Ridge’s number of senior citizens who have given up driving has increased, said Louise Paolicelli of the Pound Ridge Recreation Department’s Senior Services program.
