Pound Ridge Land Conservancy Interns Present Work

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Pound Ridge Land Conservancy's interns will give a presentation of their summer projects at the Armstrong Education Center on Saturday form 10 a.m. to noon.

The interns will discuss their projects, which included field studies and garden projects they worked on over the past few months.

"This is a great event for middle and high school students and their families who are interested in local ecology, possible future internships and volunteer opportunities," the Conservancy said in a statement.

PRLC is a private, non-profit corporation with the mission of preserving the semi-rural character of Pound Ridge through the acquisition, conservation and stewardship of land in town. The Conservancy’s preserves are kept in their natural state for aesthetic, ecological and education purposes, according to the organization's website.

The Armstrong Education Center is located at 1361 Old Post Road in Pound Ridge.
