The film garnered 17 awards and laurels during its six-month long festival run last year, according to a release.

Roberts wrote, produced and co-stars in the movie. He says the film is a “feel good family drama based on a real life story.” Local actor Patrick Collins co-stars in the movie.

Roberts, born and raised in Montreal, said "a fish story" evolved out of a promise his father made to him and his older brother when they were young that he would build a fishing cabin in northern Quebec’s lake country, according to a release.

“It would be a place with beautiful sunsets, campfires, shooting stars, big water and great fishing,” Roberts said. “It became my father’s ‘go to’ bedtime story to us for the remaining years of our youth.”

It would be more than 20 years before his father built the cabin, but he died on the night of its grand opening.

“The story takes off from there with a little - 'wouldn't it be wonderful if' thrown into the mix," Roberts said.

Roberts said he chose to show the film privately to The Harvey School community because it is a movie about family.

“My daughter is a senior this year and this school has been a huge part of her life and family since she was in the seventh-grade. I think it's wonderful of the school to have asked me to do this as a part of the Senior Class Reception -- '100 Days of Celebration.'"

The screening will take place in the Lasdon Theater of The Walker Center for the Arts on the upper campus of The Harvey School located at 260 Jay St. in Katonah. The screening is closed to the public.
