Walter, who maintains a “country” home in the Westchester town, turns 75 today.
The actress, while best-known for her role in “Play Misty for Me,” a psychological thriller, also played Lucille Bluth in the hit TV sitcom “Arrested Development.”
She also was the voice of Malory Archer in FX cable and satellite TV channel’s animated series “Archer.”
She played the title role in the TV series “Amy Prentiss,” for which she won an Emmy for outstanding lead actress.
The Brooklyn-born daughter (she still lives in Manhattan) of a musician, Walter also appeared in such series as “Love of Life,” “Ben Casey” and “Naked City.”
Walter loves relaxing in her weekend home in Pound Ridge, where she will pick up a little something for supper in a Scott’s Corners market, or walk her dog, according to westchestermagazine.com.
Walter is married to actor Ron Leibman, according to Wikipedia. She has a daughter from her first marriage to Ross Bowman, a former Broadway stage manager and TV director, according to Wikipedia.
