Pound Ridge Library Parent Workshop Stresses Smartphone Safety

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Library will present A Workshop for Parents: Outsmarting Smartphones, Gadgets & Apps on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the library.

This workshop will be presented by Sedef Orsel, author, public speaker, educator and certified coach for parents and families. Sedef will address crucial and timely topics related to kids social network and Internet safety. Parents should plan to attend if they are:

  • Concerned about the time their children spend on the Internet.
  • Unsure about making decisions to take away their children’s screen privileges.
  • Often discussing Internet safety with fellow parents.

Parents of both children and teens will find this workshop relevant and will receive answers to their questions and concerns. All are invited to attend this free seminar. Light refreshments will be served.
