POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Library announced that it is hosting a training session for residents who want to learn geomapping.
Geomapping involves the addition of data on mapping items, such as plant life, for Geographic Information Systems (GIS), the library notes.
Pound Ridge has its own GIS system and the town's Conservation Board is seeking volunteers to help update it, according to the library.
The session is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
