Pound Ridge Golf Club Partners With Local Hotel

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Pound Ridge Golf Club has entered into a partnership with Delmar Greenwich Harbor hotel in Greenwich, Conn., that will provide golfers a chance to play the award-winning course during the peak of the fall foliage season while staying at one of the area’s most luxurious hotels.

“This is a spectacular season for golf in this region, and the [Delamar Greenwich Harbor] provides golfers with convenient access to the course and an unforgettable luxury experience,” said Pound Ridge Golf Club General Manager Todd Leavenworth.

The course at the Pound Ridge Golf Club, designed by legendary golf course architect Pete Dye, was recently ranked the No. 6 Best Public Course in New York State by GOLF Magazine. The course was created to appeal to discerning golfers and business travelers who “collect” the world’s most unique and compelling golf courses. Leavenworth said the weekend stay-and-play deal makes for an ideal autumn golf getaway. Peak fall foliage typically hits Westchester County between mid-October and early November, but the package is available for the duration of golf season, the hotel said.

The Delamar Greenwich Harbor features 82 deluxe rooms and suites on the harbor. It houses a full-service spa, 500 feet of private dock, and the award-winning restaurant and bar L'escale.

Leavenworth said the fall golf packages include a Friday or Saturday night stay at the hotel and one round of golf. Rates start at $550 (single-occupancy) and $729 (double-occupancy). Guests also receive a $20 food and beverage credit, 10 percent off golf merchandise, breakfast, a bottle of champagne, and a private wine and cheese reception.
