Police: Two Men Busted Siphoning Cooking Oil From Westchester Stop & Shop
Two men took elaborate steps in an effort to steal cooking oil from the back of a Westchester food store before police intervened and arrested them. Westchester County Police officers responded to Stop & Shop on North Bedford Road in Mount Kisco at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, where there was a report of two men siphoning cooking oil. Police said that officers found the two men - Yonkers resident Federico Ferreira and Bronx resident Yocany Rojas - siphoning cooking oil from a large storage container behind the building.
