Duo From White Plains, Ossining Charged With Stealing $381 Worth Of Merchandise From Macy's A man from White Plains and a woman from Ossining have been charged after police say they stole nearly $400 of merchandise from Macy’s at the Jefferson Valley Mall. Yorktown Police say they received a report that two people had shoplifted items from Macy’s and fled the scene in a vehicle on Wednesday, May 29 around 4 p.m. Officers subsequently located the vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway and initiated a traffic stop.
