IDs Released For 25-Year-Olds Killed, Driver From Greenwich In Hit-Run Stamford Crash Police have identified two 25-year-olds killed while crossing a street, and the hit-and-run driver involved in the incident in Fairfield County. The two were killed in Stamford around 2 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Main Street. An initial investigation revealed that the two pedestrians, Giovanni Vega Benis and Yuliana Arias Lozano, both Stamford residents, were walking westbound across Washington Boulevard at Main Street when they were struck by a 2022 Mercedes-Benz, said Sgt. Woman, 50, Found Murdered Inside Fairfield County Apartment, Police Say Police are asking the public for help after a 50-year-old woman was found murdered inside her apartment in Fairfield County. Denise McClaughlin was found around 9 p.m., Friday, April 2 in Stamford, after police officers responded to her home for a welfare check When officers responded they found McClaughlin dead inside her first-floor apartment at 48 Manor St., Stamford Police Captain Richard Conklin. 82-Year-Old Man Charged With Negligent Homicide In Death Of Old Greenwich Woman An 82-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of an Old Greenwich woman who was allegedly hit by his vehicle. Charles P. Graves, of Riverside, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 9, in conjunction with the death of Regina Dowling, 63, on Nov. 29, 2019, said Greenwich Police Capt. Robert Berry. According to police, Graves was driving his vehicle on South Beach Avenue when he allegedly improperly turned onto Station Drive South, striking Dowling as she was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk, Berry said.
