Singer From Westchester To Appear On Season Premiere Of NBC's 'The Voice' A new contestant appearing on the season premiere of the super popular "The Voice," is from the area. Westchester resident David Vogel, of Valhalla, will have his chance to impress the judges on Monday, Sept. 20 when he hits the stage. The show airs on NBC at 8 p.m. According to Vogel's Instagram page, he started writing songs when he was age 13 or 14 and loves to play his acoustic guitar. Longtime Port Chester Resident Joseph Cannavo Dies At 25 Joseph P. Cannavo, Jr. a resident of Juno Beach, Florida and formerly a longtime resident of Westchester, died suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 12. He was 25. He was born Feb. 2, 1994 and raised in Port Chester, graduating from Corpus Christi Elementary School and Harrison High School in 2012. He graduated form the University of Miami in 2018.  He loved music, singing, songwriting and his dog Jack. He was a fan of Britney Spears and was devoted to his family and friends.
