Westchester Alternative High School To Transfer To College Campus An alternative high school in Westchester will have a new home that will accommodate more students in a larger space thanks to a deal with an area college. The New Rochelle Board of Education announced at its meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 19 that it has approved the relocation of the Huguenot Academy to space leased at Monroe College’s campus in the city. Tuberculosis Case Confirmed In Westchester The Westchester County Health Department has learned that a Monroe College student at the New Rochelle campus was diagnosed with active Tuberculosis, the department said. The student, who is not from Westchester and is being treated, is not on campus, and is expected to make a full recovery, the health department said. The department, working closely with Monroe College, has identified and notified any students and faculty who were exposed, to recommend and offer free evaluation and testing, they added.
