A local prosecutor in New York is blasting state lawmakers over proposed legislation that would automatically seal most criminal convictions. The so-called “Clean Slate Act" was introduced by State Senator Zellnor Myrie, a Democrat whose 20th Senate District includes parts of Brooklyn. Greenwich Man Kills Neighbor's Cat By Mistake
A Greenwich man meaning no harm to anyone but a groundhog that was continually digging up his yard has been charged with several misdemeanors after putting out a trap and killing his neighbor's cat instead of catching the pesky animal. "This was not malicious at all and you have to feel for the man because he only wanted to trap the groundhog," said Greenwich Police Lt. David Nemecek.
