Two women killed by a boyfriend in an apparent double murder-suicide have been identified as a New York native and her college hockey teammate from New England.
The incident occurred in Dade County in Miami, Florida, before 9 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at a Bird Road apartment building, the Miami-Dade Police said.

Brothers From NY ID'd As Victims In Florida Condo Collapse
A pair of brothers who are Long Island natives have been identified as two of the victims of the condo collapse n Surfside, Florida.
Dr. Brad Cohen, a Suffolk County native, from Dix Hills, was confirmed dead by the Miami-Dade Police on Friday, July 16. His body was found on Wednesday, July 7, the department said.
His brother, Dr. Gary Cohen, age 58, who was also killed in the Tuesday, June 24 collapse, was identified earlier in the week.

Harrison Woman One Of Two Killed After Car Plunges Off Ferry
A Westchester woman has been identified as one of two women killed when a vehicle they were in plunged off a ferry in Miami, Florida.
Viviane Brahms, 75, of Harrison, was a passenger in a 2019 Mercedes Benz driven by Emma Afra, 63, that was using the Fisher Island Ferry around 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, when it fell off the ferry near the Government Cut waterways, said Miami-Dade Police Det. Alvaro Zabaleta.
According to investigators, after the vehicle fell off the ferry, a multi-agency search was conducted with divers working through the night to locate the vehicle, Zabaleta said.

Westchester Man, 27, Killed By Girlfriend's Jealous Ex-Boyfriend In Double Homicide, Police Say
A 27-year-old man from Westchester was found shot to death along with his girlfriend in a double homicide committed by a jealous ex-boyfriend, police said.
Michael Tarulli of Irvington and his girlfriend Jenny Koonoolal-Jagdeo, 32, were found dead in different rooms of a Florida apartment on Thursday, Nov. 8, according to the Miami-Dade police.
A neighbor told police he heard gunshots around 7:30 a.m., an arrest report said.
Police had responded to the apartment the night before the murder on a complaint of a person banging on the door, the report said.
