Clear Sidewalks, Mailboxes For Hudson Valley Letter Carriers, USPS Says
As the Hudson Valley continues to thaw out from Thursday’s winter weather, postal officials are encouraging homeowners to keep walkways, sidewalks and the approaches to mailboxes clear from snow and ice.
On the heels of the “bomb cyclone,” which dropped as many as nine inches of snow in the area, and left the region coated in ice on Friday morning, Grayson, Westchester District postal officials are seeking the public’s assistance so letter carriers can provide safe, timely mail delivery.
