Members of the Greenwich Police Organized Retail Criminal Activity Unit chased three suspects on foot down Greenwich Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 27, after they were observed steeling high-value handbags from a local merchant, said Lt. Wrong-Way Driver, 31, Was Driving Without License In Greenwich, Police Say A Greenwich man was arrested after police nabbed him driving the wrong way down a street Sunday afternoon. Mark Traisman, 31, was pulled over around 1:10 p.m. on Greenwich Avenue by Greenwich police officers. Once stopped he handed the officer police a driver’s license with another person’s name, according to the arrest report,  It was later revealed he did not have a valid license, according to the arrest report.  Traisman was charged with driving without a license, criminal impersonation, forgery, and interfering with a police investigation.  He was also given a ticket for driving the w…

New Canaan Car Theft Suspects Caught Near Trumbull Mall An electronic tracking device led police to two car thieves and a vehicle stolen out of New Canaan in a parking lot at the Trumbull Mall. Police nabbed the two around 10:20 a.m. Monday when officers received information that a vehicle that had been stolen out of New Canaan may be in the area of the mall after an electronic tracking device alerted to that area, said Trumbull Police Lt.
