Man Charged With Interfering With Officers Conducting Investigation In New Canaan A 67-year-old man has been charged after interfering with officers conducting an investigation during an incident in New Canaan, police said. It happened on Thursday, Aug. 29 just before 8 p.m. when police were dispatched to Deep Valley Road for a report of youths riding ATVs on the street. Officers who arrived at the scene talked to Robert Avery about the youths riding the ATVs and enduro-style motorcycles on the street and private lane near his residence, according to New Canaan Police. Westchester Woman Caught Shoplifting At ShopRite, Police Say A Westchester woman was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at the ShopRite store in Connecticut. Tracy Larmonie, 24, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Wednesday for larceny, interfering with an officer, and possession of narcotics, said Milford Police Officer Joseph Dempsey. Larmonie was arrested after police responded to the ShopRite store at 935 Boston Post Road (Route 1) on a report of a shoplifter in custody, said Dempsey. Man Charged After Breaking Woman's Phone During Argument In Greenwich, Police Say Police intervention was required to break up a domestic dispute in Greenwich, when a man allegedly broke a woman’s phone during an argument. Members of the Greenwich Police Department were dispatched to an Old Track Road home shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, where there was a complaint of a verbal argument between a man and woman in the area. Police said that the investigation into the domestic incident determined that during the course of the argument, Greenwich resident David Kent Joslin, 48, broke his victim’s phone.
