Bystander Steps In To Prevent Robbery Of Woman In Greenwich, Police Say Police in Fairfield County are searching for two men who allegedly attempted to rob a woman until a Good Samaritan stepped in and prevented the theft. The incident took place in Greenwich around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 18 on lower Greenwich Avenue. Mark Traisman, 31, was pulled over around 1:10 p.m. on Greenwich Avenue by Greenwich police officers. Shoplifter Nabbed At Greenwich Apple Store, Police Say An 18-year-old Yonkers man was nabbed stealing items from the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue. The incident took place on Thursday, April 12, when employees from the store called the police to report that three shoplifting suspects from the week before had returned to the store, police said. When police arrived just before 3 p.m., Boubakar S. Toure was apprehended as he was leaving the store, police said. Toure was the only one of the three to be caught.
