Police Investigate Westchester Shooting
Police are investigating a shooting that took place over the weekend in Mount Vernon. On Sunday night, a man suffered a gunshot wound - reportedly to his head - near the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Fifth Street in Mount Vernon. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment on injuries that were not clear as of Monday morning. According to a News12 report, on Sunday, investigators were evaluating an Audi with Massachusetts license plates, which was “surrounded by latex gloves and some blood on the ground.” Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
