Longtime PepsiCo Paralegal Patti Rockhill Dies Patricia (Patti) Rockhill died on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at her beloved harbor-side home in Stamford, surrounded by her books, her dearly loved springer spaniel Georgia and her family. She was 83. The youngest of three children, Patti was born in Rochester, to George and Estell VanEpps and is survived by her brothers George (Grace) and Donald; both residing in Rochester. After graduating high school, Patti moved to New York City and worked at several world-class enterprises as a paralegal, including the L.A. Times and her beloved PepsiCo in Purchase. Swastikas Found On Sidewalks In Downtown Stamford The Stamford Police department is asking the public for help in identifying the person responsible for drawing swastikas on sidewalks in three different areas of the city.  The first swastika was found around 7:30 a.m. Thursday drawn on the sidewalk in front of the Ferguson Library at 96 Broad St., said Stamford Police Lt. Man Nearly Dies Of Heroin Overdose Inside Library Bathroom In Stamford An employee found a 52-year-old man unconscious and nearly dead from a heroin overdose in a second-floor bathroom at Ferguson Library in Stamford, according to police. The man was found around 1 p.m. Thursday at the library at 1 Public Library Plaza when the staff member entered the bathroom, said Stamford Police Sgt. Robert Shawinsky. Shawinsky said the staffer called police and EMS who quickly arrived and medics administered two doses of Narcan before bringing the man back to life.
