A new round of thunderstorms with heavy downpours resulted in flooding throughout Fairfield County with a stretch of I-95 closed for a portion of the Thursday evening commute. The closure occurred southbound between Exit 15 and Exit 16 in Norwalk. The northbound side in that area had one lane open.
