Greenwich Police say they responded to the area of 1207 E. Putnam Avenue on Monday, June 17 around 12:45 a.m. on a report of a pedestrian that was stumbling and potentially intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that there was an active arrest warrant for the pedestrian, who was identified as Martin Marusak, 47, of Cos Cob. Woman Tries To Swallow Drugs, Fights Officers During Hotel Arrest, Greenwich PD Says Police nabbed a couple at a local hotel for drugs after receiving a complaint of a fight taking place. Alexander Edell, 36, of Cos Cob, and Melaine Arias, 22, of Brooklyn, were charged with numerous drug charges after officers arrived at the Hyatt Hotel on E. Putnam Avenue around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday and found narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain view in the hotel room, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.
