Man Hits Roommate In Face With Hammer, Stamford Police Say A man was arrested for attacking his rooming house neighbor with a hammer in the face, breaking bones, according to the Stamford Police. Rocael Perez-Godoy, 36, was arrest around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after police received a report of an attack at a West Side rooming house on Oak Hill Street, said Sgt. Kenneth Jarrett. Police Nab Stamford Man For Stabbing In Park A Stamford man was nabbed within hours after stabbing another man in Leone Park following a fight.Evans Powell, 26, was apprehended by Stamford detectives about 4 p.m. Wednesday after the injured man drove to Stamford Hospital for treatment after being stabbed Tuesday night, said Lt.
