New Black Bear Sighting Reported In Woods Near I-684 There’s been another black bear sighting in the Westchester, this time in Armonk. A Maryland Avenue homeowner reported to police at approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday night that there was a black bear roaming the streets near before making its way back into the woods just east of I-684 without incident. Last week, police in East Fishkill issued an alert when a black bear was spotted rummaging through trash cans.
