Hudson Valley Man Dies After Fleeing Hit-Run Crash, Police Say Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident during which one of the occupants died while fleeing from the scene of a crash on Long Island. It happened around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept.19 in North Babylon, Suffolk County Police said. A 2003 Toyota Camry was involved in a minor crash with a vehicle at the intersection of Woods Road and Erlanger Boulevard, according to police. Man Charged With DWI After Attempting To Leave Scene Of Multi-Car Crash An allegedly drunk driver attempted to leave the scene of an accident after being involved in a three-car crash near Route 35 in Northern Westchester, police said. Members of the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to Route 35 shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 4, where there was a reported crash between Broad Street and Evergreen Street.  Upon arrival, officers stated that the initial investigation determined that three vehicles were involved, two of which sustained heavy damage.
