Wrong Driveway Killing: Trial Date Set For NY Homeowner Accused Of Shooting 20-Year-Old
A trial date has been set for the man accused of opening fire on a car that mistakenly turned into his driveway in upstate New York, killing a 20-year-old woman. Jury selection in Kevin Monohan’s murder trial will begin on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, with the trial expected to start two days later, Washington County District Attorney Anthony Jordan told Daily Voice. Police Investigating After 13-Year-Old Shot Inside Home In Westchester
Police are investigating after a teenager was shot inside a home in Westchester. The incident happened around 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 in Yonkers in the area of 160 Linden St., according to police. A 13-year-old boy suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hand and leg and was transported to a local area trauma center in stable condition, Yonkers Police said. A high school science teacher and coach accidentally shot and killed his 34-year-old wife while allegedly cleaning his gun in upstate New York, state police said. Ashley Rosenbrock was pronounced dead at Saratoga Hospital late Thursday night. Eric Rosenbrock, her husband, was "performing maintenance" on his legally owned handgun when it went off," at around 10:30 p.m., state police said. Harbor Point Man, 23, Shoots Himself While Cleaning Gun, Police Say
A 23-year-old Harbor Point man accidentally shot himself in the hand while cleaning his semi-automatic handgun, according to Stamford Police. Stamford Police Sgt. Brian Butler said officers responded to a call at Harbor Point at 8:30 p.m. Friday on a call that the man had shot himself. When officers arrived on scene the man came out of his residence, with a towel wrapped around his hand, clearly bleeding and asking for an ambulance, Butler said.
