Pace University was included in the review's '2016 Best Colleges: Region by Region' annual report. The review does not rank colleges numerically, but included 649 colleges across the nation on this year's list. Pace was one of 225 Northeast schools to receive the honor.

According to the Princeton Review's website, universities are judged on the following criteria:

  • Academics
  • Admissions Selectivity
  • Financial Aid
  •  Fire Safety
  • Quality of Life
  • Green
  •  Professors Interesting
  • Professors accessible

Pace received high marks for its business, nursing, and theater programs. Campus diversity and its proximity to New York City were also major bonuses for the university.

In addition to Pace, other area schools on the list included Fordham, Hofstra, St. John’s, and Fairfield universities.
