County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O’Leary said seven people were charged at a checkpoint set up Saturday at Putnam and Madison avenues in Port Chester.
Rosanna Pagan, 55, of Greenwich, Conn., was charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor.
Richard Sause, 72, of Greenwich, Conn. was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a felony, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Jeffrey Breton, 37, of Greenwich, Conn., was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Jonathan Calderon, 22, of King Street, Rye Brook, charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Juan Juarez, 42, of Norwalk, Conn., was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Victor Londono, 22, of Stratford, Conn. was charged with driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors;
They were booked at county police headquarters in Hawthorne and are due in Port Chester Village Court on Feb. 14.
The Port Chester, Rye Brook, and New York State police departments were also on hand at the checkpoint.
Four other county residents were charged with driving while intoxicated in separate incidents over the weekend, and into Monday, police said:
Wilson Perez, 37, of Hiloreth Place, Yonkers, was charged with DWI Monday after his car struck a guide rail in the southbound lane of the Bronx River Parkway near the New York City border in Yonkers.
Felipe Calderon, 56, of Highland Street, Port Chester, was charged with DWI Sunday after his car struck a guide rail on the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway in Eastchester.
Manhattan resident Rafi Nazarian, 32, was charged with DWI Saturday after he was clocked driving 80 mph southbound on the Sprain Brook Parkway near Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers.
Osaynde Johnson, 34, of Bridgeport, Conn., was charged with DWI, third-degree unlicensed operation of a vehicle and unlawful possession of Marijuana on Saturday after a traffic stop on East Lincoln Avenue near the Hutchinson River Parkway in Mount Vernon.
