Missing Ohio Teen Found Safe In Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – A 13-year-old girl from Cleveland, Ohio was returned to her parents this weekend when she ran away from the house she was staying at in Port Chester with her 19-year-old boyfriend, who was charged in the incident.

Around 12:35 a.m. on Saturday, the girl’s parents contacted Port Chester Police and notified them that the girl had left the house where she was staying. Officers found her on Madison Avenue in Port Chester with her boyfriend. She was reported safe and unharmed. 

Westchester County Child Protective Services took her to Westchester Medical Center to wait for her parents. The girl’s parents were notified and they drove from Ohio to retrieve her. Her boyfriend, Juan Carlos Marroquin, 19, of 10524 Denison Ave., in Cleveland, was arrested on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
