Brayan Castano-Carmano, 21, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree burglary, both felonies; and criminal contempt of a court order and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, both misdemeanors, in connection with a burglary Thursday on Tower Hill Drive.
Detective Christopher Krzeminski saw Castano-Carmano in a Mitsubishi Montero on Friday on Wesley Avenue. The car fit the description of a vehicle seen near the Tower Hill Drive burglary, police said.
Castano-Carmano did not have a driver's license and was in violation of an order of protection to stay away from the house where he was parked, police said.
Police said he also had an unlicensed handgun.
Several items stolen in the burglary also were found, police said. Castano-Carmano was arraigned in Port Chester Village Court and was ordered held without bail pending a Feb. 14 court appearance.
