Four Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops

Nearly two dozen allegedly impaired motorists were removed from the road by New York State Police troopers for alleged drunk driving in the area.

Dutchess County

  • On Saturday, March 23, State Police troopers from Wappinger arrested Michael F. Docherty, 53, of Wappinger,, for DWI. He was traveling on Myers Corners Road in Wappinger, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, March 23, State Police troopers from East Fishkill arrested Ravon N. McCollum, 23, of Beacon, for DWI. He was traveling on I-84 in Newburgh, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, March 23, State Police troopers from Stormville arrested Matthew A. Ross, 24, of Wappinger, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on State Route 376 in Wappinger, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 24, State Police troopers from Stormville arrested James C. Jusseaume, 29, of Rhinebeck, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Putnam Valley, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

  • On Saturday, March 23, State Police troopers from Hawthorne arrested Vincent P. Siconolfi, 30, of Mahopac, for DWI. He was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, March 23, State Police troopers from Somers arrested Matthew S. McClean, 24, of Brewster, for DWI. He was traveling on I-684 in Bedford, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 24, State Police troopers from Somers arrested Nicholas C. Kruzykowski, 28, of Brewster, for DWI. He was traveling on Bloomer Road in  North Salem, when he was involved in a one-car crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Westchester County

  • On Saturday, March 23, State Police troopers from Somers arrested Damon J. Gadson, 44, of Mount Kisco, for DWI, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, both misdemeanors. He was traveling onI-84 in North Salem, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 24, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Christine B. Cothren, 51, of Cortlandt, for Aggravated DWI. She was traveling on Albany Post Road in the town of Cortlandt, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 24, State Police troopers from Somers arrested Stephanie I. Correa, 30, of Somers, for Aggravated DWI with a previous conviction, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, both felonies, and Circumventing an Interlock Device, a misdemeanor. She was traveling on Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Pleasant, when she was stopped by Westchester County Police as a suspect in a domestic incident investigation handled by the State Police. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Monday, March 25, State Police troopers from Hawthorne arrested Ronald B. Wohl, 57, of Hastings-on-Hudson, for DWI. He was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh, when his vehicle became disabled for unknown reasons. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Orange County

  • On Sunday, March 24, State Police troopers from Hawthorne arrested Jose R. Soto, 60, of Wallkill, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, when he was involved in a two-car motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

  • On Saturday, March 23, State Police troopers from Brewster arrested Elder A. Pelaez Pelaez, 29, of Stamford, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On March 24, State Police troopers from Brewster arrested Garber Cruz, 44, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on I-84 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
