Frank Ellis, 91, Formerly Of Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Frank H. Ellis, a former Port Chester resident, died July 31. He was 91. 

Ellis was born Feb. 27, 1921 in White Plains. He was married to Leonora Schesny, who predeceased him on Jan. 19, 1998. He was a retired executive board member of Local 371 of the United Food and Commercial Workers. 

Most recently of Greenwich, Conn., Ellis was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester. 

He is survived by his best friend, Trishia Cimbak, of Greenwich; his companion, Rose Brow, of White Plains; a niece and a nephew. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A Mass of Christian burial will then be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the Wounded Warrior Project or Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital.
