Track Condition In Port Chester Leads To Metro-North Delays

Metro-North New Haven Line service experienced late-morning delays of 10 to 15 minutes due to a track condition in the vicinity of Port Chester, Metro-North said in an announcement just after 10 a.m.

Normal service was restored by noon.

The delays came on a day in which 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected in Southern Westchester, prompting some school districts to cancel after-school activities. For the list of schools, click here.
