Port Chester Police Arrest Four on DWI Charges

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - The Port Chester Police Department arrested four people for allegedly driving while under the influence over the weekend at various locations around the village. Among those arrested was 22-year-old Port Chester resident Francisco Soto, who police said drove the wrong way down Sherman Street and crashed into a parked car, on the night of December 17.

According to Lt. Jim Ladeairous, Soto claimed he became distracted by his phone and subsquently struck a parked car. Officers later determined that Soto had indeed been intoxicated.

Soto is being charged with a DWI misdemeanor and driving in the wrong direction down a one-way street.
