PORT CHESTER, N.Y. Rony Montoya, 34, of Port Chester was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with rape in connection to his relationship with a 12-year-old girl, police said.
Montoya was charged with first-degree rape, first-degree criminal sexual act and first-degree attempted rape, all felonies, after a two-day investigation by Port Chester detectives.
Police said the investigation was ignited by a missing-person search after the victim failed to show up for school Tuesday.
Montoya is expected to be arraigned Monday morning in Village Court, police said.
