Port Chester Brothers Charged with Robbery

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Port Chester brothers Aaron and Vincent King were arraigned on Friday after being arrested and charged with committing petit larceny on Thursday at the Stop & Shop located on Waterfront Place in the village. The charge is a class C felony, which involves acting in concert.

According to Lt. Jim Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department, Stop & Shop security spotted the brothers placing baby formula into a personal bag, and subsequently confronted Aaron King as he attempted to leave.

When confronted by security Aaron reportedly dropped the bag and escaped by pushing the security guard into an 8-year-old child, who was unharmed. While he escaped through the front entrance, Vincent managed to escape through the back.

Unfortunately for the King brothers, the mother of the child was able to provide police with descriptions and the direction where the two fled. Police were then able to locate and arrest the two men on Midland Avenue.
